The Arctic supports a variety and abundance of large mammals, including polar bear, muskox and caribou. The Arctic also boasts a great diversity of marine mammals, including whales and seals, and supports millions of sea birds, shorebirds and waterfowl.
NCC is working to protect habitat for several species at risk within Tallurutiup Imanga (Lancaster Sound) that depend on the Arctic landscape for survival, including beluga whale, bowhead whale, ivory gull, narwhal and polar bear.
By symbolically adopting a piece of Arctic habitat, you are helping the Nature Conservancy of Canada ensure that our country’s natural spaces, and the species they sustain, are protected.
How many acres would you like to adopt?
